Job summary

PIB Group in Greater Manchester is seeking an Account Executive to join our commercial broking team. This role offers the chance to inherit an established client book while driving new business growth in a supportive, specialist environment.

You will manage the inherited portfolio and build relationships, working with our broking and handling teams to deliver high-quality service and technically sound insurance solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance, broker or insurer side.
• Ability to engage with clients clearly and professionally.
• Strong organization to manage varied workloads.
• Proactive, commercially-minded with growth expectations.
• Progress towards professional qualifications (e.g. CII) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an inherited portfolio of commercial clients.
• Build strong, long-term relationships through regular contact, review meetings and proactive advice.
• Collaborate with broking and handling teams to deliver high-quality service and technically sound insurance solutions.
• Drive new business by leveraging your network and local market opportunities.
• Place and negotiate commercial insurance programmes with insurer partners to secure optimal cover and terms.
