Job summary

PIB Group's PIB Insurance Brokers is seeking a Senior Account Handler in Glasgow. You will build lasting client relationships, provide expert insurance guidance, handle daily broking tasks, and support Account Executives and the Branch Manager to grow branch income and manage high-value portfolios.

The role requires extensive knowledge of commercial insurance, FCA compliance, and Cert CII (minimum). Hybrid working from our city centre office in Glasgow is offered alongside a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with core commercial/corporate insurance classes and FCA compliance is essential.
• Cert CII (minimum) required; proficient use of MS Office is essential; Acturis knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor with tailored insurance solutions.
• Handle day-to-day broking tasks: client queries, new business, renewals, adjustments and insurer surveys.
• Support Account Executives and Branch Manager in growing income and managing high-value portfolios.
• Collaborate across teams to improve processes and service quality while meeting SLAs.
