Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Manchester & Wigan with hybrid working available. You will lead the overall direction, coordination, and completion of projects within time and budget, while ensuring health and safety and customer satisfaction.

Applicants should have project management experience in water design and build, a related degree, and PMQ or equivalent. Strong communication, leadership, and contract management skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design and construction projects.
• Strong ability to plan, monitor, and control project delivery.
• Proven capability in managing safety, quality, and enviromental policies.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and delivery quality standards for direct and subcontracted workforce.
• Ensure BMS is implemented from tender to final completion.
• Maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
• Represent company with JV partners and suppliers to protect reputation.
• Ensure adequate trained personnel and clear responsibilities.
• Plan projects and approve Project Execution Plans (PEP).
• Prepare and approve detailed construction plans and method statements.
• Ensure records per PEP are complete at project close.
• Report site non-conformities and identify costs.
• Manage commercial aspects with accurate forecasts and estimates.
• Comply with Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies.
• Aim to satisfy customer requirements and enhance perception.
• Maintain knowledge of technical disciplines for water design/build.
• Draw on PM practices from conception to user acceptance.
• Pursue continuous professional development.
