Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks an experienced Senior Consultant to support town planning and consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects across the UK. The role requires coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with statutory bodies to secure approvals.

The successful candidate will have a degree in town planning (or equivalent) and be eligible for RTPI membership, with a track record of delivering high-quality planning solutions across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in town planning (or equivalent).
• Member of (or eligible for) the RTPI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Town & Country Planning Act applications for infrastructure projects across the UK.
• Provide consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs).
• Offer technical advice to project managers to support client requirements.
• Liaise with statutory bodies and stakeholders to help deliver projects.
• Engage with multi-disciplinary teams and develop internal knowledge base.
