Job summary

DXC Technology in Luton is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a secure enterprise environment. You will balance BAU support with project delivery, maintaining reliability, resilience and continuous improvement across a broad estate.

You’ll work with Citrix/VMware VDE, Windows Server, backup solutions (NetBackup/Cohesity), and patching, while following ITIL change processes and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver clean, controlled changes for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience administering enterprise Windows Server infrastructure.
• Experience with Citrix and VMware for VDE environments.
• Familiarity with backup solutions (NetBackup/Cohesity).
• Knowledge of patching tools such as Shavlik.
• Understanding of ITIL change management and controlled changes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and improve a secure enterprise infrastructure.
• BAU support and project delivery across platforms.
• Administer backup/recovery and patching activities.
• Assist with network switches and licensing/printing services.
• Participate in infrastructure projects from planning to implementation.
• Investigate incidents and drive permanent improvements.
• Work within change management processes and collaborate with teams.
