Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in London is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build and support secure AWS-based environments for high‑security customer programmes. You will join a growing cloud engineering team, collaborating with technical leads, architects and stakeholders to deliver resilient infrastructure and automated deployments.

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience in AWS environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, security and platform services.
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience scripting with Python or Shell for automation.
• Experience delivering cloud projects in secure, regulated or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and supporting secure AWS cloud environments.
• Delivering infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Supporting migration and hosting of applications in AWS platforms.
• Monitoring and optimising cloud services for performance and security.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
