Job summary

QinetiQ in London is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to deliver secure AWS-based cloud environments for critical national security programmes. You will design, build and support infrastructure, automate deployments with Terraform and help migrate applications into AWS while ensuring resilience and security.

This role requires active eDV clearance, 37 hours per week at the London site, and collaboration with agile delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Proven AWS cloud engineering experience in secure environments.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell for automation and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure AWS cloud environments.
• Deliver infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Support migration and hosting of applications and workloads in AWS.
• Monitor, optimize and secure cloud services for performance and resilience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Contribute to documentation, testing and continuous service improvement.
