Job summary

JAM in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and manage Synthetic Training Device infrastructure through code-based tools. You will work within the Synthetic Training and Engineering Products team to deploy scalable, secure infrastructure using Ansible in air‑gapped environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building infrastructure as code with Ansible.
• Strong networking knowledge including Aruba and Cisco equipment.
• Understanding of security practices and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions to automate deployment, configuration, and management of Synthetic Training Engineering Products.
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, resilient, and cost‑effective with best practices and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Security team to maintain policy compliance and security control frameworks.
• Apply knowledge of networking, firewalls, virtualization, and OS deployments in a range of infra tech.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain infrastructure technologies across environments, including air‑gapped setups.
