Lightning AI in London hybrid is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. You will build production software and automation that support our large-scale GPU and bare-metal infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.

8+ years of professional software/infra engineering experience.
Strong Python and Linux in production environments.
Experience building APIs, tooling, or automation for infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate production services, APIs, tooling, and automation for managing large-scale bare-metal and GPU infrastructure.
Develop tooling for provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Create reliable automation to reduce manual work and improve scalability.
Build interfaces enabling programmatic interaction with physical infrastructure.
