Chroma are currently recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join an exciting Manchester-based business and work on cutting-edge innovations in the Renewables and Energy sector. Offering up to £75K with hybrid working (1-2 days per week on-site), this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make an impact and have autonomy in a role.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be key in growing the company’s internal IT capabilities and help move away from reliance on outsourced teams. You will also play a major role in improving the scope and capabilities of their product and outcomes for customers.

The company itself is a small and dynamic business with a commitment to Net Zero and the adoption of Renewable technologies across the globe. For the right candidate there is also a strong scope for development and progression as the company grows and expands its operations.

In this Senior Infrastructure Engineer role, you will be working across architecture and system design, cloud platforms, security and access management, networking, automation, and storage and backup solutions.

Essential skills/experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining hybrid enterprise IT architectures
• Experience in setting up and maintaining IT networks
• Experience in Cyber-security, including security frameworks such as ISO 27001
• Documentation of infrastructure, procedures, and configurations
• Experience in the energy industry
• Automation and scripting experience
• Disaster recovery experience
