Job description

Salary: £70,000-£80,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: United Kingdom (Remote) - Remote role, with occasional travel to London once a month.

Role Type: PERMANENT ROLE

Clearance: SC

Technical Skills:

1. Microsoft Azure, IaaS, PaaS, and Identity management (EntraID)
2. Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022 systems including DNS, DHCP, IIS, NPS, RDS, DFS, GPO
3. Active Directory with multiple forests and domains
4. Troubleshooting basic MS SQL problems
5. Office 365 tenant setup and configuration following best practices
6. Virtualisation Technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
7. SAN and Clustering technologies (Dell and HP SANs)
8. Resilient systems both locally and geographically
9. Microsoft System Centre (SCOM)
10. Backup Technologies (e.g., Veeam, DPM, Commvault)
11. Infrastructure as code implementations (Terraform, Bicep)
12. Managing basic firewalling such as Fortigate and Sophos
13. Writing technical changes and implementing them as required
14. Experience with scripting technologies for automation, such as PowerShell
15. Familiarity with various compliance and security frameworks
