Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on IT Technical Infrastructure Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and security of our enterprise IT systems. You’ll oversee core infrastructure including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, networking, and security tools, while driving system resilience, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, and management of IT infrastructure and cloud migration.
• Ensure system integrity, security (ISO27001:2022, Cyber Essentials Plus), and compliance.
• Provide expert 3rd-line technical support and guide solution architecture.
• Oversee infrastructure services: AD, Exchange, O365, SQL, networking, backups, etc.
• Work with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver reliable, secure services.
• Drive innovation, service improvement, and future-proofing of IT capabilities.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract performance.
• Engage stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proactively assess and mitigate infrastructure risks.

Skills / Experience

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure leadership roles.
• Strong technical expertise across Microsoft stack (AD, Entra, Exchange, SQL, O365).
• Experience with cloud migrations and hybrid environments.
• Solid grasp of ITIL practices and IT security frameworks (NIST, NCSC, CIS).
• Cybersecurity experience including ISO27001:2022 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., MCSE, ITIL).
