Job summary

ICE Recruit’s Leeds-based client, an established engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering projects across the UK, focusing on the North.

The role covers highways, drainage and external works design from concept to completion; experience with Section 38, Section 278, Section 104, Section 106 and Section 184 works is essential, with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, PDS, Flow and InfoDrainage skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in highways, drainage and external works design.
• UK consultancy experience in infrastructure design is preferred.
• IEng or CEng status would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead highways, drainage and external works design from concept to completion.
• Coordinate drainage 3D modelling with structural Revit models.
• Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Liaise directly with clients and design teams to drive projects forward.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Great for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join an established and forward-thinking engineering consultancy in Leeds.

The role offers the chance to become a key member of a multidisciplinary team delivering exciting projects across the UK, with a particular focus on the North of England. Projects span a variety of prestigious commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare developments.

Working alongside structural engineers and other design professionals, the successful candidate will be responsible for highways, drainage and external works design, covering schemes from initial concept through to completion. Experience with Section 38, Section 278, Section 104, Section 106 and Section 184 works is essential.

Candidates should have strong working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, PDS, Flow and InfoDrainage. There will also be an opportunity to help develop the use of 3D modelling for drainage and external works and coordinate these designs with structural Revit models.

The position will also involve preparing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and technical reports, managing projects independently and liaising directly with clients and design teams.

Ideally, applicants will hold a relevant Civil Engineering qualification and have around 5 years' UK consultancy experience in infrastructure design. IEng or CEng status would be advantageous.
