Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Leeds is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our client’s team. You will design and deliver highways, drainage and associated civil infrastructure across commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare projects.

The role involves taking ownership from concept through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, liaising with authorities, and contributing to digital modelling capabilities. Hybrid or on-site arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' UK consultancy experience.
• Strong highways and drainage design experience.
• Proven knowledge of highway/ drainage agreements.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach.
• Experience with 3D modelling and digital design workflows is desirable.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our client in their Leeds office, working closely with the engineering team on a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions from concept through to construction.

Role

You will be responsible for the design and delivery of highways and drainage schemes, working independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Highways design and coordination for development projects


• Preparation and delivery of Section 38 and Section 278 highway agreements


• Design of drainage infrastructure and management of Section 104, Section 106 and Section 184 agreements


• Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)


• Preparation of Drainage Strategy Reports


• Liaising with local authorities, statutory undertakers and clients


• Supporting project delivery across a range of sectors


• Contributing to the development of our digital and 3D modelling capabilities

About You

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage and deliver infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision. You should have:

• A minimum of 5 years' UK consultancy experience


• Strong experience in highways and drainage design


• Proven knowledge of: Section 38 and Section 278 highways agreements Section 104, Section 106 and Section 184 drainage agreements Flood Risk Assessments Drainage Strategy Reports Excellent communication and client-facing skills A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving

Desirable Skills

• Experience with the following software would be advantageous: InfoDrainage Flow PDS Civils 3D AutoCAD Experience in 3D modelling and digital design workflows would also be highly valued as we continue to expand our capabilities in this area.
