Job summary

Strata Consulting in Leeds is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our client’s Leeds office and drive delivery of infrastructure schemes across commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare sectors. You will own projects from concept to construction, coordinating highways and drainage work with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include highway design, Section 38/278 agreements, drainage design and FRAs, plus developing drainage strategies and 3D modelling

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' UK consultancy experience.
• Strong highways and drainage design experience.
• Knowledge of Section 38/278 highways and Section 104/106/184 drainage agreements.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and delivery of Section 38 and Section 278 highway agreements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our client in their Leeds office, working closely with theengineering team on a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, retail and healthcare projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions from concept through to construction.

Role

You will be responsible for the design and delivery of highways and drainage schemes, working independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Highways design and coordination for development projects
• Preparation and delivery of Section 38 and Section 278 highway agreements
• Design of drainage infrastructure and management of Section 104, Section 106 and Section 184 agreements
• Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
• Preparation of Drainage Strategy Reports
• Liaising with local authorities, statutory undertakers and clients
• Supporting project delivery across a range of sectors
• Contributing to the development of our digital and 3D modelling capabilities

About You

We are looking for someone who can confidently manage and deliver infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision.

You should have:

• A minimum of 5 years' UK consultancy experience
• Strong experience in highways and drainage design
• Proven knowledge of:
  • Section 38 and Section 278 highways agreements
  • Section 104, Section 106 and Section 184 drainage agreements
  • Flood Risk Assessments
  • Drainage Strategy Reports
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving

Desirable Skills

Experience with the following software would be advantageous:

• InfoDrainage
• Flow
• PDS
• Civils 3D
• AutoCAD

Experience in 3D modelling and digital design workflows would also be highly valued as we continue to expand our capabilities in this area.
