Job summary

Sellick Partnership partners with a public sector organisation to appoint an Information Compliance & Data Protection Manager. You will act as the subject matter expert across information governance, data protection, records management and information security, advising senior stakeholders on complex regulatory matters.

You will shape how information is managed, protected and shared, oversee data protection compliance, DPIAs, SARs and information sharing agreements, and contribute to policy

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act and FOI.
• Experience developing information governance policies and standards.
• Experience handling complex information compliance matters and information security issues.
• Ability to interpret legislation into practical guidance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice across information governance, data protection and information security.
• Lead data protection compliance, SARs and DPIAs.
• Develop and implement governance policies and procedures.
• Manage information sharing agreements and records management.
• Support projects and systems with information risk assessments.
• Offer guidance to senior stakeholders on regulatory requirements.
