Sellick Partnership (Legal) Limited partners with a public sector organisation to appoint an Information Compliance & Data Protection Manager in Cheshire/North West. The role acts as the organisation's expert across information governance, data protection, records management and information security.

Reporting into a Governance lead, you will advise senior stakeholders on UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act and FOI, handle SARs and DPIAs, and help shape policy and continuous improvement across the

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act, FOI and records management.
• Experience developing and implementing information governance policies, standards and processes.
• Experience dealing with complex information compliance matters, data sharing and information security issues.
• Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into clear, practical advice.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert across information governance, data protection, records management and information security.
• Provide trusted advice to colleagues and senior stakeholders on complex regulatory matters.
• Manage data protection compliance, SARs, Subject Access Requests and individual rights.
• Oversee DPIAs, records management and information sharing agreements.
• Influence wider organisational policy, support projects and drive continuous improvement.
