The Role

Join Our Dynamic Team as a Senior Information Analyst!

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to improve health and social care? The Lanarkshire Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our innovative and integrated team. Hosted by the South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership, our TEC team focuses on three exciting programmes: Telecare (South Lanarkshire), Telehealth (pan-Lanarkshire), and Innovation and Solutions.

What You'll Do

1. Empower citizens to self-manage their health conditions and live safely and well through technology-enabled care projects.
2. Support the TEC Team in communicating the benefits of new technology-enabled care approaches to a wide range of key stakeholders.
3. Develop a data management, analytics, and research programme across the team.
4. Collaborate closely with the Principal Information Analyst, Service Improvement Support Manager, and the wider team.
5. Apply a range of skills directly into service development, with scope for growth within the role.

What We'll Need You to Bring

1. A degree with high numerical and statistical content.
2. Skills gained through formal training, e.g., graduate diploma qualification.
3. Experience in Information Management within a healthcare environment at a senior level.
4. Knowledge of the organisation’s information requirements and NHS data standards.
5. Strong IT and analysis skills, with practical experience of NHS data definitions and policies.
6. Ability to manage staff and communicate effectively with senior audiences.

Note: A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is required if the role involves travel.

Preferred Additional Skills

1. Experience with Patient Management Systems like TrakCare and MORSE.
2. Advisory experience in health and social care contexts.
3. Experience with technology-enabled care data and evaluation.
4. Understanding of NHS environment, Business Intelligence processes, and analytical packages.
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage workload independently.
6. Willingness to travel between sites with a valid driving licence and access to transport.

Contract Details

Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 months, Part Time (14 hours), pro-rata salary.

Location & Working Pattern

Based at TEC Team, Blantyre LIFE care campus. Applicants may be considered for similar roles at alternative locations.
