Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde invites applications for the Chief of Medicine Rectification Infection Control at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital/JB Russell House. This 2-year secondment reports to the Director of Transformation Projects and leads the QEUH Rectification programme with medical leadership across clinical and non-clinical teams.

The post carries Consultant Grade salary (£111,430–£148,064) plus a management fee (£18,100) and includes 5 programmed activities.

Qualifications

• The post reports to the Director of Transformation Projects and supports the Board's Executive and Senior Management Teams on the QEUH Rectification programme.
• The post holder will provide medical leadership for the QEUH Rectification programme.
• Open to NHSGGC staff only.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and support to the QEUH Rectification programme.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver programme objectives.
• Maintain professional accountability to theExecutive Medical Director.
• Discuss the split between direct clinical care and supporting professional activities as required.
