STRABAG UK is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead site operations on major industrial and logistics projects across the UK. You will ensure safety, quality and timely delivery while coordinating with Project Managers and clients.

This UK-wide role requires travel between sites; the head office is in Shirley, Solihull. You will drive health, safety and environment standards and manage subcontractors to meet programme milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience on large construction/civil engineering projects.
• Ability to produce and manage safe systems of work for construction procedures.
• Ability to communicate with top level management and public.
• Understanding of commercial issues in undertaking construction projects.
• HNC or Degree in Building Studies or Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge of safety and environment policies.
• Experience as a section/trade foreman.
• Practical knowledge of day-to-day construction site operations.

Responsabilités

• Provide site leadership for construction and installation operations, promoting health and safety management.
• Lead and promote high standards of HSEQ and ensure policy compliance.
• Ensure work quality meets specifications and standards, manage defects and PC snags.
• Instruct and supervise new employees and subcontractors on safety requirements.
• Maintain and update health, safety and management plans; drive safety culture.
• Communicate with Clients, Design Team and Supply Chain; manage risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate procurement, site programmes, and progress meetings; support project managers.
