Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting an experienced Industrial Sales - Area Manager for the Warrington area. You will manage and grow the packaging machinery sales territory across the UK, developing long-term customer relationships and delivering tailored industrial solutions.

The role requires a proven track record in industrial B2B sales, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work largely field-based. A company car, bonus potential, and ongoing product training are included.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial B2B sales.
• Experience selling packaging machinery or related capital equipment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, production and packaging environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers across your territory.
• Identify, target and secure new business opportunities within manufacturing, packaging and industrial markets.
• Promote and sell packaging machinery, industrial equipment and associated solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations and technical sales presentations.
• Generate and follow up quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close sales opportunities.
• Understand customer production processes and recommend suitable machinery and equipment solutions.
• Work closely with internal engineering, service and customer support teams to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Monitor customer projects from initial enquiry through to installation and after-sales support.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts and market intelligence.
• Attend industry exhibitions, trade shows and networking events to develop brand awareness and generate leads.
