Job summary

AVEVA seeks a Senior Optimisation Developer to advance industrial optimisation software and numerical modelling components. The role involves independent problem solving, contributing to design/implementation, and mentorship within the USC Optimisation team.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification (MSc, PhD, or equivalent) with strong mathematical background.
• Proven programming ability in at least one relevant language (e.g. C++, C, C#, Fortran).
• Experience in numerical modelling or mathematically intensive software development.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation, maintenance and improvement of industrial optimisation software and related numerical modelling components.
• Investigate complex mathematical and software engineering problems independently and drive to resolution.
• Lead technical projects or workstreams over time with minimal supervision.
