Job summary

Raytheon UK seeks an Senior Industrial Engineer to provide multi-disciplinary support across Raytheon sites, driving innovation from early engagement through volume manufacture. The role emphasizes manufacturing improvement, equipment planning, and project support.

The successful candidate will analyse processes, develop layouts using AutoCAD, and contribute to safety and ergonomics while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure producibility and effective transition to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering science (Industrial/Manufacturing) or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Project.
• Strong statistical analysis and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive innovative manufacturing solutions and contribute to capacity roadmaps.
• Support new projects, technologies or business opportunities.
• Analyse manufacturing performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Determine equipment and facility requirements for new products or processes.
• Create detailed factory layouts and support planning, costing, and implementation.
• Lead labour estimation for assemblies and contribute to safety and ergonomics.
