Morson Group invites applications for a Senior Indirect Buyer on a 6-month contract, initially on-site in Wolverhampton with a hybrid option (3 days onsite, 2 days at home). The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management and cost reduction across multiple sites, using SAP and procurement data to drive decisions.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end purchasing, negotiate favourable terms, and ensure policy compliance while delivering measurable cost savings and value.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a procurement or buying role, ideally within a multi-site environment.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Experience with SAP and supplier relationship management systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven, with a focus on cost savings and continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, ensuring requisitions and purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favourable payment terms and improved commercial agreements.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality, service and continuity of supply.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify risks and implement improvement plans.
• Drive cost savings, spend optimisation and the use of preferred suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and approval processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across procurement and P2P processes.
• Use SAP and procurement data to support sourcing decisions, reporting and performance management.
