Job summary

Talent Octopusventures is seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to lead complex customer implementations from discovery to go-live and beyond. You will act as a subject matter expert on products, customer workflows, and implementation best practices, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

You will mentor other team members, drive knowledge sharing, and help continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Vital Records industry experience.
• 5+ years of customer implementations, product management, project management, business analysis, or related experience.
• Experience leading complex customer implementations from planning through launch.
• Experience working with government customers and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into implementation solutions.
• Experience managing multiple projects, customers, or workstreams with competing priorities.
• Experience with VitalChek, VitalIQ, VitalAmend, payment solutions, storefronts, or related Vital Records products.
• Experience working with state, county, or local government agencies.
• Experience mentoring or coaching team members.
• Experience supporting large-scale or multi-product implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex customer implementations from discovery through configuration, testing, go-live, stabilization, and transition to support.
• Develop and manage implementation plans with scope, timelines, milestones, ownership, risks, and deliverables.
• Build trusted relationships with customers by understanding their processes and product needs.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and status reviews to ensure alignment and progress.
• Translate requirements into effective solution designs using product knowledge and best practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party partners for delivery and launch readiness.
• Monitor progress, report status, and develop mitigation plans for delays.
