Job overview

Join the Senior Imaging Support team at Worthing and Southlands Hospitals.

Shifts include weekends and evenings, and nights.

Main duties of the job

Assisting Patients, Radiographers and Radiologists, keeping the departments running smoothly.

Training new team members within the department.

Actively participate as a member of the Radiology Department team and contribute towards the smooth and efficient running of the Departments.

This is a dynamic, evolving role which will include coordinating the workflow in designated areas within the Imaging department, assisting radiographers and radiologists.

The ability to work with in-patients and out-patients requiring Radiology examinations.

To act as trouble-shooter between the multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely imaging.

Ensure provision of the highest standards of care.

Assist the radiographers in giving individualised care to the patients.

Perform caring activities such as preparing patients for their examinations and caring for patients following examinations, ensuring patients’ needs, privacy and dignity are met.
