Position: Senior ICT Consultant

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: 29,000 - 32,000

You will be responsible for maintaining all IT hardware and services across the school site, helping to improve ICT provisions and supporting effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.

Your role includes facilitating communication between your school and clients, managing customer accounts, maintaining school computer equipment, installing software, providing technical support, and resolving technical issues. A strong competency in common user applications and extensive experience with Microsoft Office365 are required.

This role demands teamwork, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience in a school environment, with school experience being a requirement. A full UK driving license and access to a car are essential. Good knowledge of Apple products, iPads configuration, and Windows environment and networking is also required.

You should be capable of working independently, with a proactive approach to problem solving and service improvement.

Responsibilities include:

1. Resolving technical issues impacting school functions with effective solutions.
2. Installing and repairing computers, diagnosing problems, and maintaining network and desktop services, including hardware such as printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, and AV lecterns.
