South Wales Police is recruiting an ICT Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain our ICT network across multiple sites in Wales. You will ensure continuity of 24/7 emergency policing IT services, manage security controls and support Cisco Meraki/ASA environments.

Key requirements include a ICT-related degree or equivalent, CCNP or higher, and hands-on experience with Cisco/Meraki hardware, VPN, ACI and routing protocols.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in ICT or equivalent networking qualifications.
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Demonstrable experience designing, installing, configuring and managing on-premises network infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Implement network security including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Maintain Cisco and Meraki network gear including SD-WAN.
• Support VPN services and access management (NAM/ISE).
• Contribute to CISCO ACI deployment and network upgrades.
• Manage routing protocols such as EIGRP/OSPF across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi.
