Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ICT Network Engineer to contribute to the full design lifecycle of network infrastructure projects in the UK. You will work on enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN designs, supporting implementation, testing and commissioning while engaging with clients and contractors.

The role involves travel to UK locations and potential overseas work. Strong technical documentation skills and proficiency in Office tools are essential for producing reports and design specs.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT network design and delivery.
• Knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN and WLAN technologies.
• Knowledge of routing, switching and network security principles.
• Understanding of network monitoring and management systems.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports and presentations.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop active network designs, schematics and specifications.
• Support design and delivery of enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN solutions.
• Assist with implementation, migration, testing and commissioning activities.
• Produce technical reports and installation documents.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams.
