Job summary

The Alliance ICT Department seeks an experienced ICT Infrastructure & Digital Delivery Manager to lead the design, delivery and performance of core infrastructure platforms underpinning policing operations in Exeter and surrounding sites.

This senior leadership role focuses on security, resilience, and high performance across hybrid and cloud environments, with responsibility for supplier management, contracts, and continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, networks, hosting, and security domains.
• Experience managing suppliers, contracts, and outsourced services.
• Proven track record delivering resilient, high-availability services.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure service performance, availability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee supplier and partner relationships, including strategic partners.
• Manage contracts, SLAs, and commercial performance.
• Drive modernization of infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Digital, Innovation, and operational stakeholders.
