Job summary

VolkerWessels UK is seeking an experienced ICT Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join the 3rd Line Infrastructure Operations team on-site at Hoddesdon. You will provide expert 3rd Line support, ensuring the stability, security and performance of our ICT environment, and act as a technical escalation point for complex incidents.

You will drive automation across the team, reducing manual effort and developing automation solutions using PowerShell, Power Automate, Python, and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• 2nd and 3rd Line Infrastructure Support experience required.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure and Intune.
• Excellent PowerShell scripting skills with automation of operational tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and/or Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert 3rd Line support across ICT infrastructure.
• Act as escalation point for complex incidents and service requests.
• Monitor, maintain and support Microsoft cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Perform infrastructure maintenance, upgrades and patching.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Support infrastructure projects and continual service improvement.
• Contribute to major incident, problem management and CSI.
