Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Senior ICP/Inorganic Laboratory Analyst in Bedford. You will work with cutting-edge instruments to deliver analytical results and help manage sample analysis while keeping lab operations smooth.

The role requires leadership, training, method development, and strong knowledge of ICP-MS, IC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry. You will prepare samples, troubleshoot, and interpret results in the LIMS to support high-quality customer outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent lab experience.
• Experience with ICP-MS, IC, spectroscopy and wet chemistry techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Knowledge of sample prep methods such as leachate extractions and digestions.
• Detail-oriented, good under pressure, team player.
• Environmental testing knowledge and Agilent software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform trace inorganic analysis on diverse samples.
• Operate and maintain ICP-MS, IC, and spectroscopy instruments.
• Train team members and guide method development projects.
• Ensure sample prep and analysis meet customer needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and validate methods.
• Process and interpret results in LIMS systems.
