Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Senior ICP/Inorganic Laboratory Analyst for our Bedford site. You will work with cutting-edge instruments to deliver high-quality inorganic analyses, manage sample analysis, and support smooth lab operations.

Ideal candidates have a Chemistry degree and strong hands-on experience with ICP-MS, IC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry techniques, plus leadership capabilities for method development and team training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry (or similar) or equivalent lab experience.
• Strong experience with ICP-MS, IC, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership experience; able to guide method development.
• Knowledge of sample prep methods like leachate extractions and digestions.

Responsibilities

• Perform trace inorganic analysis on various samples.
• Operate and maintain advanced instruments like ICP-MS, IC, and spectroscopy tools.
• Train team members and guide method development projects.
• Ensure sample prep and analysis meet customer needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and validate methods.
• Process and interpret results in LIMS systems.
