Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join the Energy and Resources Group. Based in Reading, Birmingham or Shrewsbury, you will lead hydrogeological projects across minerals and resources, groundwater investigations, modelling, and regulatory engagements.

You will mentor juniors and contribute to business development, with travel to UK offices and project sites required. The role requires a degree in Hydrogeology or related field, with MSc/PhD welcome, and extensive experience in

Qualifications

• Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Earth Sciences or related discipline.
• MSc or PhD preferred.
• Experience in consulting and environmental permitting.
• Experience with groundwater abstraction and discharge permitting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater investigations and aquifer testing.
• Develop conceptual hydrogeological models.
• Prepare technical reports for clients and regulators.
• Support junior colleagues and business development.
