Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our UK water team with flexible base options including Reading, High Wycombe, Shrewsbury, Birmingham, Glasgow or Edinburgh.

You will work on a diverse portfolio of hydrogeological and environmental projects across the UK and internationally, leading and delivering work while mentoring colleagues. Chartership support is provided and a collaborative, flexible hybrid culture is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Hydrogeology MSc or PhD a strong plus, or substantial post-graduate hydrogeology delivery experience.
• Ability to navigate regulatory, business and policy environments and communicate clearly with clients.
• Commitment to chartership and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver hydrogeological work across varied project types for UK and international clients.
• Mentor junior colleagues, share knowledge, and contribute to team development.
• Conduct field-based monitoring, data analysis, modelling, and interpretation of results.
