Job summary

Mott MacDonald’s Water Consultancy Division seeks a Senior Hydrogeologist to join a large team delivering groundwater services for UK, Ireland, and international clients. You will provide technical advice across groundwater topics, support project work from aquifer assessment to environmental impact considerations, and contribute to the growth of groundwater consulting services.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in hydrogeology, geology, environmental science, mathematics or other related discipline.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Organised and able to prioritise own workload while supporting juniors.

Responsibilities

• Provision of senior technical advice across groundwater topics including modelling, quality and risk assessments.
• Contribution to bid and proposal writing across water resources and engineering sectors.
• Analyse data using Modflow, ArcGIS, QGIS and Python; present findings clearly.
• Produce high quality reports for clients.
