Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the UK is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Water Consultancy Division. You will contribute to groundwater projects across the UK and international clients, delivering groundwater modelling, data analysis, and environmental assessments.

You will work within a large team of experts, apply MODFLOW, ArcGIS and Python, and help deliver sustainable solutions while developing your professional skills in a flexible, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree level qualification in hydrogeology, geology, environmental science, mathematics or related discipline.
• Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in hydrogeology, water resources management or related discipline.
• Chartership with a professional body (e.g. Geological Society, CIWEM, ICE).

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical advice across groundwater topics including modelling, quality, regulatory aspects.
• Contribute to bid and proposal writing across water resources and engineering sectors.
• Analyse data using tools like MODFLOW, ArcGIS, QGIS, Python, Excel.
• Produce high-quality reports for clients.
