HITACHI ENERGY UK LIMITED in Glasgow is seeking a Senior AC Protection and Control Lead Engineer for HVDC projects. Hybrid work pattern: 3 days in office, 2 days at home, with office locations in Glasgow (preferred) and Birmingham.

You will translate customer specifications into protection designs, evaluate sub-supplier quotes, and lead the design team through FAT and SAT. The role requires coordinating with customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure compatibility of protection

Formación

• Experience in HVDC protection and control design.
• Proven experience with FAT and SAT procedures.
• Led design teams in customer-driven projects.

Responsabilidades

• Translate customer specifications into protection design and requirements.
• Evaluate sub-supplier quotes based on design needs.
• Lead the design team and liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Review protection panel design and FAT/SAT activities.
• Provide remote support for installation and SAT.
