Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced AC & Ventilation Project Manager to oversee projects across Yeovil and surrounding areas. You will manage AC and ventilation installations, from pre-start through commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery and quality within budget.

The role requires strong project management skills, a solid background in air conditioning and ventilation systems, and the ability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Experience managing AC and ventilation projects.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning and ventilation installations.
• Experience delivering projects from planning through to handover.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage AC and ventilation projects ranging from 200k to 1 million in value.
• Take responsibility from pre-start through to completion and handover.
• Develop and manage project programmes.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
• Oversee installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Monitor progress, costs and programme performance.
• Work with commercial teams to manage variations and project costs.
• Attend client, site and progress meetings.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works meet the spec.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Coordinate commissioning and handover.
