Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is supporting an established specialist engineering business with the recruitment of an HVAC Project Engineer to manage technically complex installation projects across the South of the UK.

This role combines office-based project planning with hands-on site delivery, coordinating engineers and subcontractors while acting as the primary technical liaison for customers from design through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC/refrigeration/building-services knowledge.
• Experience delivering HVAC projects from design to commissioning.
• Full UK driving licence; willingness to travel to sites.
• Excellent communication with clients and teams.
• Experience coordinating engineers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC installation projects from design to commissioning.
• Develop project programmes, schedules and deliverables.
• Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors.
• Attend customer sites to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Provide clear project updates to stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, labour and materials with cost control.
• Identify scope changes and obtain client agreement.
• Assess risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure HVAC, safety and energy-efficiency compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and handover files.
