Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior/Principal HVAC Engineer to join our Nuclear team, delivering safe, robust ventilation and chilled water design for safety-critical projects. You’ll lead design activities across the project lifecycle and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, outcomes-focused environment.

Based in Bristol on a hybrid pattern, you will support a major project in Canada, travel as required, and build strong client relationships while championing engineering excellence and safe

Qualifications

• Strong experience in HVAC engineering, ventilation and chilled water design within complex environments.
• Experience delivering design across lifecycle for safety-critical projects.
• Ability to lead design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC design across feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design, construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate interfaces with piping, process, civil, structural, and electrical disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership and risk management for projects.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and BIM modellers.
• Support bids, safety initiatives and client relationship building.
