Job summary

CRG is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to mobilise into long-term HV projects across the UK, leading on high‑voltage safety, Permits to Work and 33kV switching.

Join a structured organisation delivering across utilities, renewables and critical infrastructure, with a strong pipeline and clear progression beyond SAP.

Responsibilities include overseeing SAPs and site teams, liaising with DNOs/IDNOs, and ensuring Safe Systems of Work for outages and energisation.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Senior Authorised Person status for HV networks (up to 33kV).
• Experience leading HV safety, Permits to Work and现场 switching operations.

Responsibilities

• Acting as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) on HV networks up to 33kV.
• Issuing & controlling Permits to Work and Sanctions for Test & Safety Documents.
• Carrying out HV switching, isolation & earthing operations.
• Supporting commissioning, maintenance & fault response on substations.
• Ensuring Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are implemented & followed.
• Providing technical oversight to APs & site teams.
• Liaising with DNOs/IDNOs, clients & internal project teams.
• Supporting outages, energisation & planned works delivery.
