Job summary

CRG TEC in the UK-wide ICP sector is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join South West projects with travel. The role offers a base of £85,000 plus 1.5x overtime, car and private health.

You will work on HV networks up to 33kV, issue Permits to Work, perform HV switching, and support commissioning, maintenance and fault response while ensuring Safe Systems of Work.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Authorised Person (SAP) on HV networks up to 33kV.
• Ability to issue and control Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test & Safety Documents.
• Experience with HV switching, isolation and earthing operations.

• Carry out HV switching, isolation and earthing operations.
• Support commissioning, maintenance and fault response on substations.
• Ensure Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are implemented and followed.
• Provide technical oversight to APs and site teams.
• Liaise with DNOs/IDNOs, clients and internal project teams.
• Support outages, energisation and planned works delivery.
