Schneider Electric in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HV/LV Commissioning Engineer to deliver commissioning, testing, maintenance, fault diagnosis and refurbishment across HV/LV distribution systems up to 33kV. The role involves diverse projects in the UK and internationally, with a focus on safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on commissioning experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' HV/LV commissioning experience.
• Experience with switchgear and substations up to 33kV.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Perform commissioning on HV/LV switchgear and substations up to 33kV.
• Conduct functional testing, relay configuration and protection verification.
• Provide installation supervision, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
• Support energisation, integration and handover to customers.
• Lead investigations and mentor junior engineers.
