Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced HV/LV Commissioning Engineer to deliver commissioning, testing, fault diagnosis and refurbishment across HV/LV systems up to 33kV. You will work on diverse projects UK-wide and internationally, involving ATS, EV charging, protection and control systems, and safety-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence and valid passport.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and HV safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform HV/LV switchgear commissioning and testing up to 33 kV.
• Lead FAT/SAT tests and provide technical investigations.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and fault-finding activities.
• Ensure safe energisation, handover and client witness testing.
