Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced HV/LV Commissioning Engineer to join our Commissioning team. You will perform commissioning, testing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and refurbishment across HV/LV systems up to 33kV on UK, overseas and offshore projects.

The role covers protection schemes, ATS and EV charging infrastructure, with emphasis on safety, quality and technical excellence. You will liaise with clients and mentor junior engineers on diverse sites.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in HV/LV commissioning, protection testing, and electrical distribution systems.
Experience installing, commissioning, maintaining, and fault-finding on switchgear and substations up to 33kV.
Strong background in protection and control systems commissioning.

Responsibilities

Perform commissioning on HV/LV switchgear, substations, transformers, protection systems up to 33kV.
Conduct functional and secondary injection testing and protection verification.
Support energisation, integration, and handover of projects.
Lead investigations and resolve protection/control/network defects.
