Job summary

BRUSH Group in the South East England is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to deliver electrical and mechanical works up to 132kV across projects in Chichester, Portsmouth, Fareham, Fleet, Southampton and Winchester. You will interpret drawings, plan tasks and ensure safety and QA.

Role requires driving licence, hybrid working options, and a commitment to professional development with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• HNC or above in electrical engineering is essential.
• Ability to Commission HV & LV apparatus up to 132kV.
• Ability to study technical scopes and schematics and produce detailed commissioning plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute tasks identified in the works program.
• Decipher construction drawings to verify material lists and RAMS.
• Ensure works follow drawings; document changes before implementation.
• Verify Temporary Works are installed per design.
• Complete QA documentation for all completed works.
• Act on unsafe acts or conditions and report them.
• Deliver diligent, cost-effective, high-quality work.
• Attend training courses to develop required skills.
• Ensure plant/tool inspections are carried out before use.
