Job summary

Arup is seeking a senior electrical engineer to provide strategic, authoritative leadership across the electrical engineering elements of major transmission projects in the UK Great Grid Partnership. You will lead design, assurance, integration, and interfaces with civil, structural and construction disciplines to deliver high quality, resilient solutions for the national electricity network.

Qualifications

Chartered Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in major electricity transmission projects.
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary electrical design teams, including design assurance and governance.
Strong communication and stakeholder management at senior levels.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership & strategy across electrical engineering for UK Great Grid Partnership.
Oversee design, assurance and integration of electrical deliverables including substation layouts, protection & control, SCADA and interfaces.
Lead technical reviews, risk management and governance across complex design packages.
