Job summary

EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions delivering power and control systems for industrial, data centers and defense sectors. We seek a Senior HV & Controls Engineer to strengthen our production equipment safety, reliability and performance.

You will lead electrical and controls projects, collaborate with maintenance and operations, and drive improvements across HV systems, switchgear, PLCs and robotics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HND level or higher with HV experience.
• Senior Authorised Person (SAP) status and AP15 certification preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing automation or industrial engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, monitoring and testing for HV equipment, switchgear and transformers.
• Lead electrical and controls projects from concept to implementation.
• Support reliability, performance and modernization of manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and controls issues across the facility.
• Collaborate with OEMs, contractors and system integrators on upgrades.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, control documentation and standards.
• Support PLC modifications and controls improvements when required.
• Assist with robotics fault finding and improvements.
• Participate in commissioning, validation and startup activities for new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, safety and HSE standards.
