Job summary

Mint Selection Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person to manage safe access to HV equipment on renewable energy sites and substations. The role involves issuing permits, switching schedules and isolation procedures to align with safety rules.

Applicants must hold current SAP authorisation for HV systems and have solid experience in HV switching, isolation and energisation processes, ensuring compliance with network operator requirements.

Qualifications

• Current SAP authorisation for HV systems, with experience on renewable or substation projects.
• Experience in HV switching, isolation, earthing and permit to work procedures.
• Familiarity with network operator safety rules and energisation processes.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety rules and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Control and authorise safe access to HV systems on renewable energy sites, including substations and grid connections.
• Issue permits, switching schedules and isolation procedures in line with safety rules and grid codes.
• Manage safety interfaces with network operators, contractors and project teams through energisation.
• Ensure works on energised or isolated systems are carried out safely and to industry standards.
